Chinook Helicopter

Chinook  Helicopter
This is how a helicopter works, they all share certain parts.
Includes a powerful engine and spinning rotor blades.
In front is the cockpit, where the pilot controls the helicopter.
He uses two control columns that's for speed and direction.
He also uses the foot pedals to help it to turn the helicopter side to side.
It has wheels or skids that are like skis.
It may have a cabin for troops and military equipment.
I am interested in the Chinook  helicopters because they can carry lots of things with the cargo hooks.
They can lift about six elephants.

Little Red Riding Hood Rap

Learning Intention - To identify and interpret the main ideas and authors message.

1. Look at the word rap up in the dictionary.  Write down what it means in this context.
The word of rap means the sound of when someone is knocking on a door.

2. From the rap, select 4 pairs of words that rhyme.
Feet, sheet red, bed do zoo don’t learn

3. Why are some of the words in brackets?  How would you say them if you were in the play?
So there can be a sort of way to right in the book.

4. What differences are there between this modern version of Red Riding Hood and the Traditional tale?
      There’s not much difference.

5. This story has a moral - what does that mean?  What is the moral of this story?
